A 10-year follow-up of patients from the SYNTAX

A 10-year follow-up of patients from the SYNTAX study has been published, comparing CABG with intravascular coronary angioplasty (the implantation of drug-releasing stents). CABG gives better long-term results and in general is the cheaper method in the group of patients with the most advanced coronary atherosclerosis.
