Graphene conducts signal from heart surface

Graphene perfectly conducts electric current. We decided to use it for electrocardiographic signal (ECG) conduction from the beating heart to cardiac monitor. 

This is the first time when graphene based electrode shows ECG during cardiac surgical procedure. The signal is strong, clear and compatible with standard monitor. Sterilization does not affect graphene conduction properties.   

Thus our Heart Sense probe can be used at any time when ECG signal collected from the skin is lost, distorted, too weak or not diagnostic. 

We have just proved that on animal beating heart model.
